When I started Ugly Dog Adventures back in 2008, there wasn’t anything else like it — and to this day, there still isn’t.
Sure, there are other dog walkers. And yes, there are companies offering group walks or basic socialization. But nobody does what we do, the way we do it. After 18+ years of working with dogs, building real relationships with our clients, and creating a system that prioritizes the emotional, physical, and behavioral health of every dog we walk, I can confidently say this: we’ve built something truly special.

Before any dog joins our pack walks, we do a two-part evaluation:

2.Test Pack Walk to see how they do with our crew

Ugly Dog Adventures is my full-time life’s work. I’ve dedicated nearly two decades to helping dogs and the people who love them. I know every dog’s name, history, personality, and quirks. I watch them transform over time. This isn’t just a business — it’s my purpose.
And I’ve built it alongside my partner Larry, who leads our training programs and works with many of the dogs you see on our pack walks. Together, we’ve created a unique blend of high-level dog training and real-world socialization that no other company offers.
